At a glance Starts at $179/mo Free trial 30 days Best for courses, checkout and bundled video in one login Website [Official site](https://www.kajabi.com) You are paying for the Kajabi site, and the video rides along. The [help center](https://help.kajabi.com/en/articles/17174907-does-kajabi-host-my-video-content) says Kajabi does not host the file. Wistia does, at no extra charge on the plan. A single upload is capped at 4 GB. On the [pricing page](https://www.kajabi.com/pricing), the monthly toggle shows Basic at $179, Growth at $249 and Pro at $499\. Basic billed annually is $143 a month. The annual card still prints $179 a month beside that. Kajabi does not take a platform cut of what you sell. A third-party payment processor, instead of Kajabi Payments, adds 2% on Basic, 1% on Growth and 0.5% on Pro. Moving the sales video to another host does not remove this subscription. It adds the other host's meter. If the bundled stats are the reason you are looking, the [Kajabi video hosting alternatives](/alternatives/kajabi-video-hosting) keep the course here and rank the file hosts. The [review](/reviews/kajabi-video-hosting) covers what the Media Library actually counts. ### What you trade ##### What works * Wistia encodes uploads, and the Kajabi plan already includes that hosting * Media Library rolls plays, play rate, engagement and hours watched into one view for a file, across every place it is embedded * Website and landing pages accept an embed from YouTube, Vimeo or Wistia * Kajabi does not take a platform revenue share on sales ##### What to watch * Kajabi does not host the file itself. The help center names Wistia as the partner * The lesson uploader rejects a YouTube or Vimeo page link. Those links go in the lesson body * The published stats are engagement metrics. The help page does not describe a split of buyers against non-buyers, or revenue per play * Page embeds named in the help article are YouTube, Vimeo and Wistia ### Pricing FAQ Is video hosting a separate Kajabi bill? No. The help center says Wistia stores the files and the plan already includes that. Does Kajabi take a cut of the sale? Not as a platform. Card processing still applies. A third-party processor adds the percentage named above, by plan. What if I only move the sales video? The Kajabi subscription stays. The new host is an extra bill for the file. The alternatives page ranks that move. ### Sources #### From Kajabi video hosting * #### Other sources 3 discussions and reviews read for this page.
